Justin Timberlake releases brand new song “Filthy”
Once referred to avidly as the ‘prince of pop’, Justin Timberlake is back! The multi-talented singer, songwriter, model and movie star has turned his attention back to music and isn’t back in shy fashion. The star has unveiled the name and date of his upcoming album “Man of the Woods”, today surprising us with the first track and single. According to Timberlake the track must be played at loud volume so no sitting in the quiet zone on the train for this one! It’s a different rock/melodic/dub-step/funk track, but being the highly talented artist he is, he somehow makes it work… as always!
Man of the Woods will be Timberlake’s fourth solo album, following from the incredible 20/20 Experience which featured Tunnel Vision, Pusher Love Girl & the astonishing Mirrors, but he’s definitely not rushed to give it to us. 20/20 Experience was released 5 years ago, and although Justin has made his impact in Hollywood as a credible actor, we’re glad that he’s back in the studio. The artist seems to be following a Michael Jackson-esque music career timetable, releasing albums sporadically in half-decade intervals.
Not only has the Friends with Benefits actor announced his album, the living legend will also be showing off his new music at this year’s Super Bowl half time show on February 4th, 2 days after his album hit’s the charts.
We can’t wait to hear the rest of this project. Filthy will be on repeat for the rest of the day- inevitably! Check out the music video for Filthy below:
